1. Scope
This notice applies to the public Valentry website. Customer platform data, production hosting, subprocessors and operator responsibilities are governed by separate implementation and data-processing agreements.
2. Information you choose to provide
You may provide your name, work email, phone number, organisation, team size, product lines, priorities and a message when requesting a demo or contacting Valentry.
3. How the demo form works
In this static website package, the demo form does not transmit information to an embedded database or analytics provider. It prepares an email in your own email application. You can review, edit or cancel that message before sending it.
4. Why information is used
- To respond to enquiries and arrange demonstrations.
- To understand the needs and suitability of a prospective organisation.
- To keep a record of business communications where appropriate.
- To protect the website and respond to legitimate legal or security requirements.
5. Cookies and analytics
This package includes no third-party advertising pixels or analytics scripts. It may use browser session storage only to remember that the opening “Entering Valentry” sequence has already played during the current browsing session. A deployed version should update this notice before adding analytics, marketing cookies or other trackers.
6. Sharing
Enquiry information is not sold. It may be shared with service providers or advisers only where reasonably necessary to operate the business, respond to the enquiry, protect rights or meet legal obligations, subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. Retention
Information should be retained only for as long as reasonably required for the enquiry, the business relationship, legal obligations and legitimate record-keeping. Production retention periods should be documented before launch.
8. Security
Reasonable organisational and technical measures should be used to protect personal information. No public website or email channel can guarantee absolute security, and production controls should be assessed separately.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, object to certain processing or raise a concern about how information is handled.
10. Contact
Privacy enquiries can be sent to support@valentry.co.za. The deployed notice should be updated with the responsible legal entity, physical address and Information Officer details before production publication.
